The one who keeps causing you pain, never be your peace. — Thomas Shelby

Have you notice the color of the sky today?

Feel the evening breeze coming to you?

Listening to the sound of traffic and shouting people?

If you have children, do you know how good or bad their day are?

You walk too fast and maybe running to your direction without taking glances on your surroundings. Crossing every bucket list that you spent years to accomplish. Going quicker than your peers to enjoy the live you have been dreaming since childhood.

Today, working on your office or doing something to make a living, is take every single of your cells away. You are living on airplane, forget to turn it off for a while. Clinging on a candle in the darkness. Hoping there’s a brilliant lightning on the end of the tunnel. Yet, you never found it.

Now, try to blow your candle. Enjoy the darkness. Sharpen your senses to feel you. Perceive how fast your beating heart is, your short breath, your blood cells that goes on high mile, and your cold yet warm skin. When the blindness takes you over, instantly your other senses accommodate the loss. All of them collided, creating a single spark.

Notice how a single spark within yourself illuminating the tunnel. Bright and mesmerizing. A single tear drops on your face, you smile faintly, gasping and taking slow breath. Then you whisper to yourself, “I’ve found it.”

The world is, like the tunnel without lamp, like a night sea without stars. It has their own darkness, charming your eyes at first, obscuring your views, rendering you to kneel, and singing lullaby to your authentic self. It promises a lighting at the end of journey, deluding yourself into belief on a doubtful faith. Forgetting your spark, your lighthouse.

Here, you present at the moment. Igniting the spark to shine along the way towards the end of the tunnel.

Tonight, prepare yourself to bed. Clean the bedroom and yourself too. Save your phone inside the drawer. Say three magic words in front of mirror.

Please be patient with life.

Sorry, just recognize you today.

Thank you for being alive.

The next day, get yourself a fancy breakfast or arrange it as you like, wear your best attire, and write yourself a love letter.
